Bishop Dansby received his Bachelors Degree in Business from Alabama A&M University followed by Foundation Studies at Birmingham Baptist Bible College. He furthered his education with Masters Studies from New Orleans Theological and completed his Masters in Theology from Andersonville Theological Seminary in Camilla, Georgia. His educational background includes formal training in the areas of Business Education, Accounting, Business Law, Business Finance, Pastoral Counseling, and Pastoral Theology.

He received God’s call to the Ministry in December 1989 and served as Associate Pastor at his family church, Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church, for 2 years. Pastor Dansby then transitioned to St. James Baptist Church and continued the work of God as Associate Minister for 7 years. Following the

resignation of his predecessor, he served for 8 years as Senior Pastor, during

which time the congregation grew to over 300 members. Under his direction, many new projects were launched, including a Media Ministry that enabled him to begin to spread the Gospel by television. In late March of 2005, Pastor Dansby, under the direction of the Holy Spirit, founded New Beginning Christian Fellowship.

In 2008, Pastor Dansby was ordained as a Bishop in the Church of God, Cleveland, Tennessee. In 2010, Bishop Dansby facilitated the purchasing of a

worship structure located at 924 – 41st Street North in the Kingston/Avondale

area of Birmingham. In 2012, New Creation Christian Fellowship was founded. As senior leader, Bishop Dansby is able to further build ministry in the community with an atmosphere that encourages worship and the Word of God. He has developed a plan to meet the needs of the community through skills training and development and a standard, yet flexible counseling program and provides study sessions for singles, families, married couples, and fathers. He established the Nehemiah Summer Camp in 2023 and plans to establish a mentoring and job readiness program called the Nehemiah Project.

Senior Pastor

Co-Pastor Dana J. Dansby was the sixth child, born to Adele Moore (deceased) and Evans Johnson (deceased) in Birmingham, AL She Graduated from A. H. Parker High School in 1976, and UAB School of Nursing in 1985. She married her high school sweet heart, John E. Dansby in 1983 and to this union was born: Mia Dansby, Kristina Dansby, and John Dansby Jr. Dana pursued her nursing career over three decades at several local hospitals, health clinics, and Pediatric facilities, blessing others through service of her professional nursing skills. Dana started as a neonatal intensive care nurse at Cooper Green Hospital and ended serving the Substance Use Disorder and Adolescent Behavioral health populations at UAB Psychiatric hospital.  After the transitioning of her Mother Adele Moore, in 2010, Dana was inspired by the Lord to pursue a MA degree in Marriage Family Therapy from Liberty University in 2017. Currently Dana is serving her community through Counseling Substance Abuse clients and pursuing her independent Marriage and Family Therapy license while continuing to keep her nursing license active. Dana passed the  National Marriage and Family Therapy exam in 11/2023 and plans to serve families, couples, individuals and children via counseling services.

 Dana is currently active at New Creation Christian Fellowship in Birmingham, Al serving in the capacity of Co-Pastor, Mentor, Couples Ministry Staff, Ministry leadership team and any capacity where she is needed. Dana believes that living in the will of God is the source of her inspiration and joy for living.
